I am running for North Penn School Board to eliminate Political Agendas and restore Academic Excellence.

About Vince

Vince Altieri has successfully spent his entire 30+ year career working in the backbone of America's commerce - the trucking industry. Vince is now a Director of Operations with A. Duie Pyle, Inc. and holds a B.S. in Business from Saint Peter’s University.
Vince is an engaged North Penn parent who began attending school board meetings to express his concern about how the directors were handling the pandemic. Vince has been faithfully attending board meetings for over two years. He has witnessed first-hand how politics are dictating the decision-making process by school board members. Vince believes the result of such politically motivated agendas, has led to the undeniable slide in NPSD’s state ranking, and has affected students at all grade levels. Further, these political agendas combined with the lack of transparency from the school board have decreased the trust of parents and taxpayers, as well as, have increased the volatility during current school board meetings and promotes division in the North Penn Community.
As a school board member, Vince will put in the work to create a politically agnostic learning environment, foster transparency and trust for all constituents, and hold himself and his fellow board members accountable to results. He will return a voice to the parents and a vision for successful outcomes from the community at large. With a student-centric approach to policy making, Vince aspires to lead NPSD back to academic excellence and to implement a balanced budget to lower tax hikes, by staying under the Act 1 Index and in accordance with the recent Auditor General’s recommendations.
Vince settled in Lansdale more than 15 years ago. Vince and his wife, an elementary school teacher for over 25 years, are proud and engaged parents of their daughter who is enrolled in the North Penn School District. Vince’s daughter is his motivation to serve as a catalyst for positive change on the school board.
Born and raised in the “melting pot” of Jersey City, Vince is blessed to have parents that were very active and supportive in his life. He is the son of a military dad and learned at a young age to honor and respect our great country, and to never take his freedom for granted. Vince’s mom was a homemaker and raised Vince and his older siblings to love each other and live by the golden rule – “treat others as one wants to be treated.” Vince is a God - fearing man, and a loving father and husband. He enjoys traveling with his family, is passionate in his career, is an avid golfer, and is also known for his sense of humor.
